Nominated composer for the “The 2013 Hollywood Music in Media Awards” in the category of classical music (Los Angeles, USA) for the composition “Nona” (“Sounding Images”, realized with cellist Luis Caballero). The album, along with “The Last Man of Fukushima” is nominated as a finalist for the “Premios Martín Códax da Música” awards (2014 and 2015). “Voicing” (part III) composition, realized with singer Mónica de Nut, wins a Silver Award at the “Sapporo International Art Festival – Urban Soundscape Competition 2014” (Sapporo, Japan), from the japanese composer and pianist Ryuichi Sakamoto (member of the “Yellow Magic Orchestra” and soundtrack composer of “Revenant” and “The Last Emperor”).

In 2015 he composes the original soundtrack music for the short film “A úiltima moeda” (The last Coin) of the writer Fina Casalderrey and producer Xoan Vidal; the composition “Like a rover flow” is used in the documentary film “Aguardente na Raia” (Artisanal liquor at the border) – both produced by “Piruleta Vermella”. As a composer and pianist collaborates with the International Documentary Festival “Play Doc” (2016) by composing and performing the soundtrack for “Miss Ledya” (Xosé Gil, 1916) – first conserved galician silent movie. He also adds and interprets on piano the soundtrack for the films by Joaquín García Portela “Costiña” (“Socheo” project by the filmmakers Xurxo González and Beli Martínez) in A Guarda (2017). In 2016-2017 he composes the OST for the Android and iOS platforms video game “Cricktogame” by Polygon.e Studios.
As a pianist obtains numerous awards in national and international piano competitions as “N.Rubinstein” (France), “Real Club Náutico de Vigo”, “Club Rotaract de Palma de Mallorca” (Spain); chamber music “Pavasario Sonata” (Lithuania). Features various premieres of his compositions, performances and appearances at festivals held in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Lithuania, Japan, … Worth noting “Xacobeo 2004” where he shares the stage with jazz guitarist J.McLaughlin, “Pórtico do Paraíso”, “Festival de Jazz do Salnés”, “Xacobeo Classics 2010”; “Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien” (Hanover), “Koninklijke Conservatorium” (Brussels), “Museo del Arte Contemporáneo de la Unión Fenosa” (A Coruña), “Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea” (Santiago de Compostela), National Philharmonic (Vilnius), Former Sapporo Court of Appeals (a.k.a. Shiryokan).
Collaborates with soloists and ensembles like cellist Luis Caballero (“Cimarrón” quintet), singer Mónica de Nut, pianist Rasa Biveiniene, clarinetist Juan Ferrer, percussionist Alejandro Sanz, “Ensemble s21”, “Grupo Instrumental siglo XX”, “Taller Atlántico Contemporáneo”, “Plathner’s Eleven”, among others. A number of his works are published in “Musicaneo”, “Dos Acordes”, “Periferia sheet music”, as well recorded and edited by “Radio Galega”, “Estudio grabación Mans”, “Ouvirmos”.
Improves his skills by attending master classes with composers J.Cruz-Guevara, C.Havel, J.M.Laborda, E.Zampronha; pianists Z.Plavin, A.Seriogina, R.Biveiniene; and because of his great interest in improvised music and jazz also assists the “Seminario Permanente” with A.Rábade and P.Charlín.
Achieves his academic formation as a composer and pianist between Lithuania and Spain: first at National School of Arts of M.K.Ciurlionis in Vilnius (O.A.Steinberg (student of J.Zak and H.Neuhaus) – piano; B.Kutavicius – composition) and later at Superior Conservatory of Music of Vigo (R.L. de Castro – honors degree in piano; C.Cambeiro, F.Buide del Real, among others – composition).
